These are slow, intentional techniques that require time, evaluation, and feedback from you. These massage techniques can be successful in increasing your range of motion (ROM) and decreasing pain . This is specific massage work that focuses on a portion of the body to attain a goal. First treatment will include an assessment.

~ PREGNANCY MASSAGE - Mother’s to be can enjoy relaxation massage or deep tissue work. Massage is helpful at easing muscle tension and freeing soft tissue restrictions as changes take place in the her body. Massage during pregnancy is indicated, safe, and recommended after the 12th week.

It is a good idea to arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment as you will be asked to complete a confidential client intake form, asking such information as to your reason for receiving a massage, your medical history, life style, stress level, and current exercise program.
Most people prefer to wear no clothing or you may choose to underwear if you feel more comfortable. The therapist will leave the room while you undress and lie down on the table. During the massage The therapist will undrape only the part of your body being massaged, ensuring that your modesty is respected at all times.
Make yourself comfortable, breathe deeply and relax. Many people choose to just close their eyes and relax, others prefer to talk. Please feel free to ask questions or tell the therapist if you are experiencing any discomfort. During some treatments you may be asked to move, stretch or breathe to enhance in the healing process.
Hydration is important. Before and after any massage it recommended that you hydrate properly.
